IASAS MUN!!

Chairing at this year's IASAS MUN conference at the International School of Kuala Lumpur was definitely a highlight of my MUN journey!! From the first moment that my gavel banged at the start of the conference, I immediately felt the energy and passion that the delegates in my committee HRC brought into the room. Guiding debates and coming up with ideas for amendments to reach a consensus reminded me why I love MUN so much.

I was especially proud of how the delegates in my committee grew in confidence over the 3-day conference, and these small breakthroughs were what made my chairing experience even more valuable. ISKL's welcoming atmosphere and great organization made my first IASAS experience even more memorable. 

I would like to thank all of the staff at ISKL for making this conference an absolutely fabulous and fun experience for all of us. I would also like to thank Mr. Farley, the MUN director at my school, and Ms. Chen for bringing us all the way to KL and back safely and for ensuring that all of our practices went smoothly. 

This is definitely an experience that I'll carry with me long after the conference ended. Looking forward to next year's IASAS MUN!!
