My IASAS MUN Chairing Journey!

I'm sooooo excited and grateful to share that I received the amazing opportunity to serve as a chair at this year's IASAS MUN conference in Kuala Lumpur!!

Being part of IASAS MUN has always been something that I have looked forward to (since it's the most impressive conference at our school!), and chairing is just a completely different level of experience. We just started our first practice a week ago, and guiding the flow of debate and supporting delegates throughout these past sessions was simply so rewarding. 

This week, my fellow co-chairs and I assigned country research and also resolution-drafting assignments to the delegates. 

The passion, professionalism, and global-mindedness of the delegates truly blew me away. I learned so much from them, and from my fellow chairs, and I walk away from this experience with a deeper appreciation for diplomacy, collaboration, and the power of student voice.

Huge thanks to Mr. Farley for guiding and teaching us all about IASAS MUN in the past three months, the organizing team for such an amazing conference, and everyone who made this conference such a memorable experience. Chairing at IASAS MUN was a privilege — and a memory I’ll carry for a long time.

Can’t wait to see what’s next as I explore and venture in the world of MUN!
