Painted First Impressions
Painted First Impressions
As a member of Art Honor Society, I was able to take part in our special project of painting a mural to welcome visiting college representatives and students to Taiwan and to TAS for our annual CAT College Fair!!
The mural started off a bit slowly, as everyone was discussing who was doing what part and how to make the picture look good. After a few drawing sessions, the mural became really amazing, blending elements of Taiwanese culture with TAS school spirit.
It was also rewarding to see visitors stopping by to admire our work, take photos, and ask questions about the design. I think that art has a cool way of connecting people, and this project helped me learn that visual storytelling can be really powerful.
Even though we had to scrub the paint off after the college fair (since no graffiti on the walls!), creating this piece was an unforgettable experience! Stay tuned for our next project!!
