Another Pair Bites the Dust

 Another Pair Bites the Dust

Another season down means another pair of running shoes worn thin. Cross country was never just about racing; it was about persistence, endurance, and showing up day after day.

There were early mornings, long runs in the rain, and time trials that left me gasping for air at the finish line. But in every mile, I learned something new. I learned that progress doesn't happen overnight. That showing up, even when I'd rather quit, is sometimes the biggest win of all.

Each pair of shoes carries the weight of all those miles, those moments of doubt, and the pride of finishing strong. As another pair bites the dust, I walk away tougher, more focused, and ready for whatever comes next.

Now, summer begins in Taipei's scorching heat. The humidity wraps around me like another skin, and even 7 a.m. runs leave me drenched. The next season starts now, and not in the fall. Because cross country doesn't just teach me how to run, it teaches me how to keep going, even when no one's watching.

Yay!! I see the finish line!

Let's finish strong!
