Resonant Light

As the other scientists searched the lab, I gathered more information on various known alien species. As I scrolled through the documents, I could feel my hands sweating. 

What's going on? I thought. 

All of a sudden, someone touched my shoulder. I turned around abruptly, a pen-slash-weapon in my hand, ready to defend myself. When I looked up, the most terrifying scene appeared before my eyes. A dark orange elephant mutant kneeled before me, its hands human-like yet with a long snout and simply gigantic ears. 

Oh my! It matched one of the alien species, the Siephriers. They are said to be the only animals living in the deep oceans of Neptune. This was too much for me to bear. I turned around to call for help, but no one was there... 

 A group of Siephriers capturing me and putting me into a massive bag was the only thing I remembered before I passed out.
