Magnetic Wormhole

"Oh my, I can't believe it! We actually did it! We accomplished our mission!" I exclaimed as the apple appeared again through the teleporter. All the scientists cheered in excitement. "Wait a minute," Dr. Hubble said with a tinge of fear in her voice, "There's a bite on the apple... It wasn't there before, right?" "Wait, but how is that possible?" I asked skeptically. Something just went really, really wrong. 

It all started this spring when we were working on the skills of teleportation. An elite group of scientists was grouped together by a tech company, including me. Things were not looking good at the beginning. All of our previous experiments were total disasters. Recently, we finally found a way to teleport small objects with stability. It was a fantastic breakthrough, and we may have gotten just a little ambitious. We decided to teleport an apple to test out our technology. We didn't exactly know where the apple was being teleported, but we still did it anyway. And now, it has a BITE on it, so we may have also discovered another species of organisms, possibly aliens...
