The Stairs, the Forest, and the Buck

Walking down the endless stairs, Veronica felt her body becoming lighter and lighter. 

"What's happening to me? I feel like I'm a piece of cotton, floating in the air, " Veronica said, her voice higher than usual. 

"Yeah, me too! I feel little nausea, which is definitely strange, " Madison complained. 

"Why do I think we are going straight into a trap?" muttered Veronica. FINALLY, the stairs came to an end. The girls could see something bright in front of them. 

"That must be the exit! Thank god we made it here!" yelled Veronica. She leaped up in joy as she entered a beautiful and dazzling forest. Whoosh~ A gush of wind rushed by. A magnificent buck appeared before them, its head bowing. 

"What's going on?" Madison and Veronica exclaimed at the same time. Just as they finished talking, both felt the world spinning and spinning as they collapsed onto soft piles of brown and orange leaves. 

The last thing they remembered was the buck carrying them away, just running and running.
