Volunteering!

Volunteering at the Taiwan Guide Dog Association 

I went for my first time volunteering at a public charity event. I was a volunteer for the Taiwan Guide Dog Association, and it was my very first time passing out flyers and trying to get people to donate money. 

Remember Nina? She first appeared in my post "Training a Guide Dog From Nothing."

I saw her again today during the event. She is now a full-grown dog, and she is currently having lessons with a professional trainer. 

This was the first time I saw Nina since she left us to have training. I was absolutely thrilled to see her!!

I really enjoyed today's experience, doing my best to help the people in need of guidance in their lives. I learned a lot from this afternoon. Although it was only around four hours, I had the best experience I can have as a thirteen-year-old. I wish the best for Nina!
