Plague of Hush: It's Time
Plague of Hush: It's Time
The interview began. The man started with a few simple questions like, "Where did you go to college?" and "How old are you?" The first thing Mr. Campbell noticed about the man was his weird clothes. He was wearing an orange suit with light blue pants, matched with polka dot shoes. "You didn't answer me yet, Adrian. Are you with me?" the man asked for the third time. "Sorry, could you repeat the question again?" Mr. Campbell answered. Adrian often went into "meditation modes" in the middle of a conversation. It was kind of his thing.
"Tick tock. Tick tock." Time passed slowly. Mr. Campbell thought the man was repeating the same questions again and again. He was getting impatient. "Are we finished with the interview?" Mr. Campbell asked after the man repeated the question "Which companies did you work for?" for the seventh time in three hours. "We're almost done here," the man replied with a mysterious smile on his face. The man touched his watch as if he was pressing a button. "What is this guy's problem?" thought Adrian.
With no time to think, the lights blacked out. The man was gone.
Adrian Campbell was trapped.
